Cydney Lee is the assistant to the editorial director at <em>Billboard</em>. When writing, she is passionate about covering her favorite rappers/singers and rising artists in R&B/hip-hop. Her work has been featured in Vulture, Yahoo, Okayplayer, <em>Vice</em>, <em>Nylon</em> and more. Hailing from the outskirts of Philadelphia, Cydney is a two-time graduate of Syracuse University, where she earned a B.A. in psychology ('20) and an M.A. in arts journalism and communications ('21). When she isn't writing, Cydney spends all her money on concerts, sneakers and Chick-fil-A.
